Some things we've done in the last few days (since I'm not keeping on top of this daily entry thing at all!):
-Went to see Joannie perform a piece of music which she composed entitled 'Supper with the Erbs'. This piece was inspired by her experience of living with our family and was based around the theme of "Johnny Appleseed" which we often sing before we eat. We, the Erbs, were represented by a string quartet and Joannie was represented by the flute, which she played. We stayed on and watched the Queen's Chamber Orchestra perform as well.
-Dyed eggs using onion skins for Easter.
-Went with Joannie to check out an art exhibit at a gallery on Queen's campus. One of the pieces we saw involved origami. When we came home, Joannie did some origami with the girls.
-Worked on our seasons quilts and embroidery.
-Went to the library and have read numerous story books which we got there. Some of them are about Easter.
-Baked ginger cookies.
-Played outside, enjoying the warmer temperatures and all the mud!
